Fourteen Charter Chambers barristers have been commended by the latest edition of the Legal 500, which bases rankings on interviews with peers and instructing solicitors.
Neil Hawes QC is also one of three nominees for Chambers and Partners Directory’s Silk of the Year Award.
From the Legal 500:
Recommended for criminal law, as well as related fraud and regulatory matters, Charter Chambers is ‘a well-trusted, leading set of chambers with very experienced counsel’, although junior members are seen by solicitors as the set’s real strength. New senior clerk James Hall is ‘extremely keen, young, and hungry. His enthusiasm is beginning to prove an asset and as he becomes more experienced in the role’. The service of the clerks overall is ‘very good’; ‘they often go above and beyond when a problem arises.’
