Tasmin Malcolm, instructed by Laura Lee of JSP Law, secured an acquittal of a 29 year old man following a trial in absence at Luton Crown Court on offences of Burglary (dwelling) and Going Equipped to Burgle. The Prosecution alleged he was acting as a look out whilst a burglary took place and that items in his possession were for use in burglary, which included a crow bar, screwdriver and disposable gloves amongst other items. He was arrested following a witness account from an off-duty police officer who resided on the street in question. An unidentified man was captured on CCTV leaving the premises but was never apprehended.
