Practice Profile
Has been instructed as sole junior counsel in cases alleging serious offences against the person, rape, firearms, child neglect, fraud, major drugs supply and controlling prostitution. Has been instruced as sole junior counsel in large scale trading standards cases. Has been instructed as sole junior counsel in large scale multi-track civil frauds. In 2008 Dominic Thomas was instructed for the main defendant in the multi-track insurance fraud Ali v Hughes heard at the Central London County Court. Has been instructed as sole counsel and led junior counsel in criminal appeals of cases where not instructed at trial.

allegation of attempted murder by stabbing, defendant a 16-year old with learning difficulties, acquitted.
R v Lee and others:
allegation of large-scale drugs conspiracy to supply, acquitted.
R v Brecani and others:
allegation of kidnap and false imprisonment of an Albanian prostitute, defendant an Albanian national, acquitted.
R v McGrath and others:
allegation of large-scale firearms conspiracy, acquitted.
R v Connors and others:
allegation of blackmail and money laundering, acquitted.
R v Gilette:
allegation of murder, Central Criminal Court, mental health disposal.
R v Hardy and others:
allegation of international scale drugs conspiracy to supply, partially acquitted
