Practice Profile
Is regularly instructed as junior counsel in homicide cases ranging from “shaken baby” to gangland execution and torture and murder of prostitutes. In addition, appears as leading junior counsel in manslaughter and attempted murder cases with a practice that recently has predominantly been at the Old Bailey. Instructed in over 15 homicide cases over the last four years.
Has particular expertise in organised crime including large drugs conspiracies or other offences involving the use of covert surveillance, telephone intercepts and probe material together with the disclosure regime around such material.
Is recognised as a sexual offences specialist both in rape (including “cold case rape”,) child sexual offences and internet paedophile crime. (CPS Rape list)
Experience as Leading Counsel in fraud cases including international advance fee frauds, police misconduct and computer crime.Also advises upon and appears in cases involving confiscation and asset recovery under the DTA, CJA and POCA. (CPS fraud specialist).
