Cases
Past cases reported include Kelt (1977); Landy (1981); Adams (1977); O'Flaherty, Ryan and Toussaint (2004).
Most recently, over the last year, has appeared for the defence in several high profile criminal cases including
1) the alleged racist murder of a taxi driver in Leeds. The defendant was sixteen years old, and the case involved much conflicting evidence from several teenagers which had to be formed into a meaningful defence.
2) the alleged honour killing of his daughter by a member of the Kurdish community, which involved detailed analysis of hundreds of hours of translated Kurdish conversation.
3) a 14 year old boy accused of murder in Nottingham having the charge reduced to manslaughter (diminished responsibility) in Nottingham
All these cases were reported nationally.
